Ahlan Deen Camp: Living the Legacy is a 5 days 4 nights guided camp for youth to redirect what it truly means to live in this Dunya as a Muslim, in a world that constantly pulls them towards itself.

This year’s mission is to shape the ways of thinking and practices for working towards contentment in the Dunya and eternal happiness in Akhirah.

Living the Legacy helps young Muslims redirect what it means to live in this Dunya, in a world that keeps pulling them towards itself. The mission this year is to shape ways of thinking and practices that lead to contentment in the Dunya and lasting happiness in the Akhirah.

Through discussions, interactive sessions, guided reflections, and lessons from the Quran and Sunnah, participants learn to see this life as the exam hall, not the destination.

La ilaha illallah is a belief that shapes how we think, choose, and identify ourselves. Being born Muslim does not mean our faith will never be tested.

Why is this camp more expensive than the ones before?

The activities planned with the resort are more physical and active, which costs more.
This year’s theme needs more materials.
The venue is further away, with a beach theme and a forest explorace.
We provide proper materials, insurance, and transportation.
The camp is limited to a set number of participants, so we can keep the quality of content and impact high.

Why is the minimum age 12 for boys and 11 for girls?

Maturity tends to begin earlier in girls, so we start boys at 12 to make sure the content has its full impact. If your son is 11, we will ask a few questions first: whether he can look after himself (bathing, folding clothes) and express basic feelings, plus a few questions on basic Islamic knowledge.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. We offer a payment plan to ease cash flow. We ask that you keep to the agreed deadlines.

Can I get a refund if we cannot go?

There is no refund policy. If you cannot attend, you can find a replacement yourself to get your money back, and tell Ahlan Academy about the change through the Student Affairs Department.

What should I pack?

Registered participants receive a programme guidebook that lists everything. Bring a maximum of two bags: one luggage and one hand carry, so the bus luggage space is used well.

What time do we arrive back?

We expect to arrive back between 8:00pm and 9:00pm on 24 December.
